Rams U23 v Reds U23

The Rams U23 is a tough nut to crack and they’ve showed in the first four games of the season that they are hard to play against. There’s few goals in their games and if we want a good result at their ground we need to take our chances.

Our form is good and we’ve performed better as the season has moved forward. We know we’re losing Jack Darius in a couple of games but we need to make the most of it while he’s still with us. He may be on the bench yet agains as I feel Oakley Cannonier and Simion Michez deserve to play. They will be our partnership up front for most of the season and they need more game time to get to know each other.

The Rams U23 away from home won’t be easy and all need to be at their best to give us the best possible chance to win the game. I see ourselves as favorites but everything must be perfect to get the result we want.

Great win last time out against a strong Villa side now we need to press on see if we can hold our own with the promotion of Dani. Looking forward to seeing we do, the squad is all avaliable but a midfield fitness rotation is required now being a player short here

Aston Villa U23 vs Everton u23

The champions come to Villa Park in what is always going to be a tough contest. The two sides have already faced this season and we were able to win the cup meeting away from home but we know Everton are normally stronger in the league and this won't be an easy one. Meetings between the sides saw one win each and a draw at our ground last season so it just shows what an opponent they are

We're off the back of our first loss of the season and it's important the lads don't let that become a run. Bouncebackability is the order of the day for us and we'll be going out strong looking to take all three points

West Bromwich Albion U23 vs Wolverhampton Wanderers U23
The first black country derby of the season as we make the short trip to face the Baggies. They are an interesting club with the U23s almost as good as the first team so we know this won't be an easy one. They have a couple of players that both my teams would love on the books.

But we are top of the league, playing well and fearing nobody. We're on the road for only the second time in the league all season but we won our last away game so no reason we can't do the same. If we are going to challenge at the top for more than just the start of the season we need at least to be not losing these games
