A game we lost in the dying seconds but I feel we deserved much better from this one. We played a good football game but we couldn't get on the scoresheet. The visitors played a solid game and defended really well. With five players at the back we struggled to break them down and when we had opportunities to score, we failed. We thought we had taken an early lead when Zack Marsh hit the back of the net in the seventh minute but the referee spotted something in the build up and ruled it out. Hard to say what the referee blew for as we didn't see any foul in the build up. But the goal was disallowed and we had to go again. The game was an open game with chances to both sides and when the game was heading for a draw Steve Abraham popped up and won the game for The Blades U23. A disappointing result and we're finding it hard to perform on regular basis. We find ourselves in the bottom 4 and we must do better in the upcoming games to climb the table and put ourselves in a better position.
