The first half an hour helped us to the first win of the season. We’ve been decent this season but yet to pick up a win. We got off to a great start when Kartal Yilmaz scored in the 13th minute. He scored from a powerful header inside the six yards box. But we only managed to keep ourselves in front for three minutes and we was back to level terms when Malachi Sharpe made it 1-1. We continued to look for another goal and when Nathan Ferguson played a superb pass to Zack Marsh we got the goal we was looking for.
But the game made a turn when Kazimcan Karatas was sent off after half an hour played and we had to play the last hour with only ten men. We went into the dressing room knowing we had to put up a solid shift in the second half if we wanted to keep hold of the win. Our defending was absolute outstanding in the second half and the visitors never managed to take advantage of playing with a man up. Heroic defending helped us to our first win of the season and a big confident boost for the upcoming games.
