Sunderland vs. West Bromwich Albion

We've got Brom at home midweek, they're on the road two games in a row and had a cagey draw against Chelsea. We had a good result on the weekend, and we need to keep rolling with that approach. Get some early points banked and go as far in the league cup as we possibly can, as we've got the squad to compete on two fronts. Jean-Clair Todibo had a ridiculously grand game on the weekend, I'm hoping for more of the same from him and from Jackson too!

Coventry City v Wolverhampton Wanderers

So our first team take there first step in the league cup as we face Coventry away from home. Coventry are managed by an experienced manager so this will be a very hard game. I expect 100 percent commitment from my players. We want to do as well as we can in all compatitions this season although David Fofana will start in place of captain Simeone as we need to take a proper look at him.
