Auction Round 1 Bids

Right then we had a bit of an issue with a complete cock up by @Jamma but we think we have got to the bottom of it now and so can do the reveal.

Right then 11 bids and 4 got their second choice and one their third and one team missed out so 5 got their first choice.

We will start easy with the goalkeepers as not one team had a bid on that came into play so all go a begging in round 1

Next we will go to forwards as their were only bids on two players here.

First we have T John-Jules who was first choice for Dagenham @Macca and they picked up their man for the sum of £1,000,000

The other striker bid on had a bid of £1,500,000 and that was enough to secure the services of C Morton who will be at Hartlepool United this season. @Jamma

I am now going to go to the next easy one as this player also only had 1 bid and was first choice for the team that got him.

We will go the midfielder G Ward and he went for the sum of £1,250,000 and will be going to Morecambe for the season @Nocky

Now we go over to defender K Jameson who was first choice for two teams. First was Chippenham @Dazoctaron who bid £1,500,000 and it was not enough. The top bid and as it turns out was £2,000,000 and this came in from Darlington @Darlington and they gat their man.

So that meant Chippenham had to look at their second choice and that was T Vassell.

Well he had 5 bids and was the most popular player for bids this round. First in was £750,000 from Leamington @willz121 and it was way too low. Next was Bromsgrove @Nocky and Chippenham @Dazoctaron with their second bid. Both bid £1,250,000 and both mis out. The final bid to fall short was £1,500,000 on their first choice player from Scunthorpe @Jamma. The winning bid and top auction amount was £3,750,000 from Uxbridge @Joe who get their man.

So we know Bromsgrove and Leamington both missed their first choice players and by some quirk of fate they both went for the same player as second choice so one was set to get their second choice and one was not!!.
The player they both aimed for was C Wood and the bids were £750,000 which wasn't enough and £1,250,000 which won the day. Leamington @willz121 bid the lower amount meaning Bromsgrove @Nocky get the player.

Right lets clear up the mids as just two more go in the auction.

First is L Leigh who had 3 bids. first was a first choice bid of £750,000 from Boston United @Fenris and wasn't enough and neither was the first choice bid of £1,000,000 from Solihull Moors @Ian McNamara. The winning bid was £1,250,000 and was the third choice for Chippenham @Dazoctaron

Having missed out on Leigh Solihull Moors made D Barton their second choice as as no one else bid they got him @Ian McNamara and will pay £1,000,000 for him.
