Fine margins and a game decided on an early own goal. We've tried to set up to funnel our best chances through Haji Wright, and just like in real life he either shows up and scores a hat-trick, or in this case just stands around doing nothing. We've tried different things and I can't get a tune out of our strikers this season, and the fact that my defenders and midfielders have better shots to goals ratio suggests something isn't clicking.
No idea what to try next, but we really should be doing better in this division with the squad we've got - and maybe that's down to me.

Crystal Palace 0 - 2 West Ham United
West Ham secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, dominating both possession and chances. The Hammers took control in the 25th minute when Zirkzee finished clinically after a fortunate buildup. West Ham continued to press, with Foden and Kudus creating constant problems. Crystal Palace struggled to convert their limited opportunities, despite hitting the bar early in the second half. The game was sealed in the 65th minute when Liam Richardson struck with a superb finish. Palace keeper Vicario made several key saves, but West Ham’s attacking quality proved decisive.
