Sunderland 2 - 2 Crystal Palace
Disappointing result at home against a team that had very little of the ball. It's reassuring that we were able to punish them for sitting so deep once they had the led but truth is I don't feel we should be at parity going into the away leg. I need to check if away goals count because that's a huge result for them if that's the case.
I'm a little puzzled at the sudden rapid decompensation of our defense which was otherwise miserly all season but this is football and we will go away and try to find the magic formula for the away leg.
