In our first season in charge to finish second in the devision after a 5th place finish last season is a fantastic achievement and is going to help us massively toward improving the team. I could not be prouder of the players, we had a dip in form towards the end of the season or who knows we may have been celebrating a title however in the end ourselves and Villa were way ahead of the rest of the pack so to show such a dominating display in our first season is something every player should be proud of. We have players getting close to promotion now however with the first team players improving hopefully under 23s will be able to stay developing for longer as 20 rated is un lightly to get you anywhere near a 1st team now. I could not be prouder of the players as we did not give up hope and we continued even when results were not the best. The players have worked as a unit today which was proven as when you've only managed to score 1 goal you have to fight harder to keep the win and we did that today. Thankfully our placement will enable us to get some good abs to start improving our younger weaker players and weaker backup players to enable us to compete again next season. Youth football is taken very seriously here at Wolves and we aim to work on getting players either good enough for our first team or good enough to genorate assets so we can continue to strengthen. After decent seasons for both the seniours and youngsters the key thing now is kicking on and continueing improvement.
