Really proud of the players tonight, we've managed to stay up with 1 game to go and the lowest we can now finish is eighth place due to us beating Brentford. Really proud of Gillmore he's had to wait patiently all season however he got a game today and scored. Mathys Tel again with another two key goals for us and he's had a fantastic first season at the club. David Fofana was also a threat so that is a promising partnership for seasons to come. This is a key result for us now as it means we stay up and we'll finish in a decent position in the league as well. Could not be prouder of everyone at Wolves tonight and now we can get ready for another season in the top devision next season.
We did what we needed to do to keep us at the top of the pack but with Villa winning it goes down to the wire with a head to head away game for the title. Thankfully we will be at full strength after missing so many players this round due to a cup game at the weekend which we are not involved and no new sending DP issues today. It was great to see Gyokeres with the double to add to his first season at the club but we have missed to many games with him and Arp being able to partner each other missing 7 game weeks in total between them is tough going.
