Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Having safely negotiated the group stage we get a real test away to the side currently 2nd in division one. With us top of the second tier currently this will be a great measure as to where we have got to so far this season and in the pecking order.

Despite our position we have been on poor form recently and are really going to have to up our game for this one. The goal is going to be to stay in the game for this leg and take them to Molineux to try and knock them out. Could be easier said than done.

The Gunners have a great squad with a lot of players I managed at villa. Zack Butterworth will be missing through injury and they will need some fitness rotation but this will still be a really tough game. Hopefully, given their position in the league, they won't view this one as a high priority.

We will be at full strength but the beating we took at the weekend may lead to a rethink for us. We may have to change our tactics and try something new.

A tough game but why we're here - time to test ourselves...
