We've bounced back after losing the opening game of the season and we've now won two in row. But this league is so competitive and we can't afford many slip ups before we find ourselves without a chance of fighting for the title. Our defending has been good over the last two weeks but our offensive play have room for improvement. 11 goals in 7 games is decent but we need to do far better offensively. Joao Felix and Alejandro Garnacho isn't doing the same job as they did last season and we rely on them two to perform if we want to do well this season. When we host The Blues on friday, we're doing it without Gerson who was sent off in the midweek. We've yet to decide what to do with Gerson after he lost it against Yokohama Mariners and we might decide to let him sit out rest of the month. A fine is coming, both from FMFA and the club. Playing at home is a good chance for us to keep up with the top teams and Anfield must be a fortress if we want to achieve the goals we've set before the season. It's a tough opponent we're facing but resent form has proved us that we're able to overcome any opponent.
off to the south coast were we have started the season well can we carry on and pick up more points i will rotate my team due to fitness issues and hopefully who ever i pick we can get at least a point i am aiming to sign another midfeilder to give me more options in this postion and hopefully make us better
We are still without our number 1 striker who has been injured since the start of the season so Perez continues to deputise.
There a re a few minor fitness concerns amoungst the squad but otherwise no absentees. We have made a decent start to the season and will look to continue that here.
Saved penalties for a living and reffed for a bit.
Currently run EFLO, CoE and OFMC
Leicester City vs Aston Villa
We come into this one after a nice week off with the lads taking some R&R. We're not sure if we will be facing a managed team or not but they are struggling for fitness so we will be going for the jugular.
We are full strength, well rested and welcome back Tristan Jumeau after injury. His return to the club was marred by that knock so he'll be hoping for a bit better this time around.
The Foxes have lost all 3 of their games so far whilst we have won two out of three. The defeat did come away from home and we also drew on the road in the Club World Cup so we need to pick up that away form if we can. The 4-0 victory at Chelsea in our last trip shows we can do it - hopefully we will show that again here
The invincibles? unlikely but 3 games and we are unbeaten in them all and also in the league cup so we have had a very solid start to the season and it would be incredible to carry on with that great streak until we at least get to the huge clubs, all games are difficult but we know certain squads are much stronger than others so we need to pick up points and beat the lower rated clubs so if we have hiccups against the giants we can still end up in the top half come end of season
Going to be a tough game, they have one of the games best keepers so we need the top men to be on form to put the ball in the net to give us a chance but can see a draw written all over this match
