Southampton U23 0-1 Arsenal U23
Not as impressive as doing this with the first team but promotion last season and the title this season. Considering the strength of some of the U23 sides this is quite an achievement and we played a 20 rated striker in most games. I'm happy to win this title but it doesn't really mean a huge amount. I'd rather do it with the firsts. That said we will get prize money which will help with the first team. That's the aim with the U23

Not really sure if the point of this any more. Home advantage, tactical counter and a better side all round. A tactic and formation that have won many games all season.
We lose 1-0 and manage 1 shot off target all game.
If it’s just pot luck who wins and loses there’s not a lot of point carrying on is there?

Brentford U23s 0 - 1 Leicester City U23s
Going into the game, we knew we had to win if we wanted ANY chance of catching Arsenal at the top. Thankfully Mitchell scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to give us three points, but Arsenal managed to get a win as well.
It was always a long shot, we were seven behind with nine on the table, so they had to have a severe collapse, but now we have to focus on pushing for second place... which will be equally tough as the sides behind us are all after the same thing too.
Congrats @redblueeagle on the title, and commiserations Neil on this one. You didn't deserve to lose this match, and much like the results in a couple of my other games this round, when the engine is against you, there isn't much you can do.

Reds U23 1 - 0 Clarets U23
We needed a win to make sure of our existent in the U23 Premier League and thanks to an early goal from Michael Folivi we got the win. With the place secured we’re able to look at teams above us in the table. It’s only three points up to 4th but with only two games left of the season we need help from other teams to climb the table. The biggest job has to be done by ourselves winning the last two games. If we do, our season could end on a high.

Bournemouth U23s 2-1 DERBY COUNTY U23s
Both teams came to play and it led to an entertaining game.
We took the lead early on through Stretton but mid-way through the first half they scored two quick goals.
We then made things harder for ourselves when Hutchinson got a second yellow for something that wasn't even a foul.
To be fair they were slightly the better team.
We are still in with a chance of finishing second though.
