A game with not alot to shout about but a key 3 points that we managed to steal with an unforced error from the home sides keeper being the difference over 90 miinutes, this win with other results sees us now top of the pile for a week and although early in the season still its nice to finally get back to the peak after quite a few seasons away now.

Reds 3 - 1 Seagulls
It was a game we dominated from the start and we had a good performance at Anfield. Alejandro Garnacho scored in the fourth minute but the visitors took advantage of a mistake from us a minute later and the game was back to level score. We continued to create chances but couldn't get ourselves back in front before half time. We knew we had every chance to win this game and got our reward when we scored two quick goals. Sandro Tonali made it 2-1 before Philippe Coutinho secured the win when he scored six minutes before full time. A good win and pleasing to see our attacking play.
