Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Sheffield United

It's been a few games since I reacted to a match as been away so let's recap....

In round seven we claimed a great 3-0 away win at Tottenham.

In round eight we lost 1-0 at Fulham - our first league defeat of the season - to surrender top spot.

In round nine we bounced back with a good 4-2 win at home to Southampton

In round ten we won 2-0 away at leaders Leeds to go back to the summit of division two.

Also in that time we have won two rounds of the cup and made it to the quarter finals. Safe to say it's been a successful spell despite the disappointing Fulham game.

In round 11 we face Sheffield United at home to take us the halfway stage where hopefully we can maintain top spot. We have only faced them once so far this season with them being the only side to beat us at home - they won 2-1 in the league cup group stage - so we are out for revenge. They are not having as strong a league season as they are in the cup which is a bit of a surprise but they are not to be underestimated!

In team news we are at full strength with come minor rotation needed for fitness. The blades have no injury or suspension but are off the back of extra time in the week so have some fitness concerns - hopefully that can play into our hands.

We're seven points clear of third place with two to go up but we don't want to let anything slip in the promotion quest and, anyway, we ant the title. So there will be no foot off the gas as we look to take as many points as possible. Home games in particular are must wins for us and, despite our position, any dropped points will be seen as disappointments now. We have laid the groundwork for a memorable season - it's on us not to let ourselves down!
