D_Kulusevski (47) Jun_Amano (15)
Sent Off: J_Quinines (48)

happy to salvage a draw after going 2 0 down but dissapointed we couldnt take advantage of having an extra man but again we didnt win as my poor form continues

Bournemouth 3-1 Aston Villa

Matt continues to get the better of me in these games as his side ran out convincing winners once again. The game was maybe tighter than the scoreline suggested with chances even but they were more clinical and our GK had a shocker. Luke Shaw's late goal was a mere consolation.

Halfway through the group and we are 7th but, with games in hand on those teams above us and more home than away games to come we have good chance of making the top four still and certainly should be able to push the top twelve. It does unfortunately seem we will have to do it the hard way

Manchester City 2-2 Al Ahly

A topsy turvey match that saw us take the lead before being pegged back and going behind only to equalise late on. Looking at the balance of play a draw was a fair result but probably slightly better for us being away from home. The character of the team to come back after falling behind is a big positive.

We're 11th at this stage but have a game in hand over some of the teams around us so are well placed. We also have some home games in Cairo to come so hopefully we can pick up the results there to see us into the playoffs at least
