FMFA Cup Format

FMFA CUP

All teams in the FMFA qualify for the cup.
The cup is a two leg knockout competition with home advantage apart from final which is on a neutral venue.
The rounds are over two legs and if teams are level at end of two ties then away goals will count and if still level then extra time and penalties (if required) will be used to determine a winner.

Round 1
The Bottom 4 teams in Division One the previous season qualify
Round 2
The 2 Winners from Round 1 plus All other teams (14) who have not qualified for the Anglo-American Champs league or Trophy
Round 3
The 8 winners from round 2 plus the 8 teams in the Anglo-American Champions League and Anglo-Anglo Trophy
Quarter Final
The 8 winners from round 3
Semi-Final
The 4 winners from the Quarter Finals
Final
