18 teams have bid in round 1 and only 1 team has not won a player this round.
We will start with Goalkeepers as there was only 1 bid on a goalkeeper and they won their man.
Jose_Sa was the only keeper who received that bid and it was £101,000,000 from Sheffield United.
That means M_Flekken, G_Vicario, B_Verbruggen, J_Trafford will all be available for bidding in round 2.
Midfielder wise there was just one midfielder that had a single first bid that won and that was for L_Ugochukwu
and he cost £180,000,000 and will be at the Emirates in an Arsenal shirt this season @redblueeagle
Strikers was the big bidding area by the way with only 1 striker receiving no bids and so N_Jackson will be in round 2. The rest though all received bids or went to a teams second or third bid.
Bottom the auction list holding everyone up was E_Fergusson who got 2 bids. Derby's @Dazoctaron first bid of £67,500,000 was not enough as they were outbid by Leicester who offered £85,000,000 and get their man @bruffio
That meant then that Derby@Dazoctaron had to go for their second player on their list which was N_Madueke and they lowered their bid slightly to £64,250,000 and again it turned out to be not enough as he also received two bids and the other was £113,000,000 from Chelsea @David H which he will know was his second player so he didn't get his first bid which was on C_Nkunku at £129,000,000 so he went for more than £129,000,000.
So then C_Nkunku received the most bids in 6 bids. We know Chelsea bid and lost and also 4 other teams lost their first choice and they were Brighton@willz121 who bid £83,000,000, Aston Villa@Nocky who offered £145,250,000 but it wasn't enough and nor was the bids of ££165,000,000 from Man United@Burrows or £200,750,000 from Liverpool @Eduardo.
The winning bid and highest paid in this round was a sum of £258,000,000 from Newcastle United@harry51
We will now jump back to midfield where we have D_Szoboszlai who was the subject of two bids. QPR @Joe had him as first choice and bid £93,000,000 and was winning as no one else went for him until Nkunku had 5 teams lose their first choice player. That meant a second choice bid came in for him of £200,750,000 from Liverpool and took him for over three times the QPR bid.
Also it meant another midfielder was picked up as a teams second choice after a failed bid for Nkunku and that was A_MacAllister who received just that one bid that came from Man City@Dazoctaron and they paid £99,750,000 for him.

That has now cleared all the midfielders that recived bids this round which was three players and means that nine will be in round 2 and they are:
J_Maddison
M_Diaby
D_Kulusevski
M_Kudus
M_Nunes
C_Jones
M_Almiron
J_Doku
R_Gravenberch
We will now clear off the two remaining defenders that received bids and they were J_Gvardiol and I Knonate.
I Konate was a second choice player who received only one bid and having lost out on D_Szoboszlai went to QPR@Joe for £93,000,000
J_Gvardiol received two bids and both were first choice bids. Man City @Dazoctaron came in with a bid of £101,250,000 but they were just outbid by a sum of £123,500,000 by Southampton
That means defender wise that
M_Akanji
P_Porro
A_Disasi
J_Timber
M_Gusto
D_Udogie
L_Colwill
That leaves us then with the strikers to sort and left to clear up are G_Martinelli, R_Hojlund, A_Fati and J_Bowen.
We will start with G_Martinelli who had 4 bids (2 first choice and two second choice ones).
Bournemouth @Matt opened up their bidding with a first choice bid of £91,000,000 which was not enough. Man United and Villa had missed out on Nkunku so turned to next on the list for their second choice. Man Utd @Burrows dropped their amount to £115,000,000 and so lost out on their second choice as Villa kept their amount bid as they had for their first choice at £145,250,000 @Nocky. All were more than out bid as Everton topped £200m for their first choice and picked him up for £205,000,000
