Huge result for us against a top side who are way above us in the pecking order. On the day we dominated and in all honesty could have scored more with the number of efforts on target we had. But Tymofeev in goal for the Clarets had an amazing game despite letting five in. We can now go into the second leg with a bit of confidence, but those two away goals could come back to haunt us.

I did say that this could be a potential banana skin for Burnley and it proved to be correct!
Poor display from Burnley but brilliant from Stoke. Well deserved victory!
Better performance needed in 2nd leg to try and overcome 3 goal deficit.
