Pigeons 2 - 1 Blues
Today we got a lot of help from the visitors. They played a wreckless game and before half an hour played they was reduced to nine men. They lost both Mario Götze and Yerry Mina with red cards. We should have gone a goal up after only three minutes played but Valentin Castellanos threw away his chance from a spot kick. In the 28th minute we got the opening goal when Heber scored from a well taken free kick. Against run of play Aleksandar Mitrovic leveled for the visitors and we once again had to find a way to break them down. The man who missed the penalty early in the game wanted to revenge himself and a minute before half time Valentin Castellanos won us the game with a terrific drive. Back to back wins in the first two games of the group stages can’t get any better.

Flamengo 0-4 Leicester
An embarrassing result and one that shows you can't go into games with a weak GK. We had more shots but they took theirs well and we were destroyed at home in a real setback for our campaign.
The defeat leaves us 3rd in the table - level on points with Leicester and 3 behind New York who we play in a must win double header next. I get the feeling at least 4 points is needed out of that if we are to progress. So that will be the aim and we have noting to lose...
