Re: Round 2 - Reaction
Gunners 0 - 2 Reds
Solid performance away from home in a very tight gsme. The two teams matched each other on the stats but a goal in each half won us the game. Sandro Tonali opened the score after fifteen minutes played and the Uruguayan talisman Luis Suarez doubled midway through the second half. A very important win after we lost the opening game and it put us on the board for the new season.

Re: Round 2 - Reaction
Everton 5-2 Aston Villa
Our terrible start to the league season goes from bad to worse with a demolition at the hands of Everton. We had the counter and took the lead but they came back and, when we went attacking once we were 2 goals behind they put us to the sword. Really frustrating but one of those matches that happens from time to time in ESMS.
Villa have one of the best squads in the league but have lost both our opening league fixtures and conceded 8 goals in doing so. The goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has come in for a lot of criticism with fans calling for Roman Burki - the recent signing from Brighton to be given a chance or even Andy Firth from the U23s. The manager has also been given some stick for signing Jorginho at auction when the better signing would maybe have been top rated stopper Robin Olsen - although age is likely to have scuppered the deal there. In the post match press conference the gaffer did suggest that a plan was in place. Something is needed - and fast!
