Leamington 0 - 3 West Ham United
It had to end at some point, but what a journey! We played so well in so many games, snuck through at times, but to make it to the semi final of this cup is a huge achievement. West Ham were too good for us over the two legs, but there is no shame in that. Their strikers were four levels above our goalkeeper so there was always likely to be some goals from them.
We achieved something huge once again, and to be honest, I've enjoyed managing Leamington more than Coventry or Brighton this season!

Sunderland 2 - 0 Derby County
Well, we secured a place in the League Cup final in front of our fans at home with a controlled performance that saw us run out 2-0 winners and denied Derby a shot on target. I said that we had to manage this game correctly if we wanted to be in the final and we did exactly that - with a man of the match performance from Kronmuller who set up both goals and is riding a great wave of form right now that should see him get some more regular minutes as we close out the season.
