Derby County 0 - 3 Sunderland

Just a clean, efficient, strong win away from home to set us up to progress to the final. We are a massive chance to win this competition now and I don't want to squander any opportunity to put a trophy up in the cabinet under our names. Wissa and Jackson went bang bang back to back which was pleasing especially for Jackson who's don much work but not got the same number of goals to show for it. Truffert's little lob was just icing the cake and from there it was all about game management and remaining disciplined which the team did fantastic at.

West Ham United 0 - 0 Leamington

Firstly - how are we still in this tournament at the semi final stage? We have achieved something huge as a club once again. Winning the title last year and getting past some very good sides to progress this far is amazing... and we are still in the tie! Not only are we still in it, but we gave West Ham a real game here and a draw is a fair result with a very even split amongst all the stats. The fact their goalkeeper got Man of the Match shows that we aren't just here to make up numbers, but were in it. We were also helped by West Ham's profligacy with only one shot on target, but we are still here and there's always a chance as long as you're still in the game.

Second Leg will be a different game, but hopefully we can keep the pressure up and cause another upset?
