Wolves 1-3 Chrystal pallase.
A very end to end game however Pallis had more clinical finishing in the end. Mathys Tel however again worked hard and tried to score more goals, he was a threat and got the goal he deserved. Anthony Patterson was unlucky to get minus points as he played fantastic in goal. We now have to move onto the next league game which is key for us.

Re: Group Game 6 - Reaction
Dagenham and Redbridge 1 - 2 Coventry City
Scorers: J_Bidwell (54'), E_Simms (76')
We scraped through away at Dagenham and Redbridge, but I guess playing against two teams at once is always going to be a test... On a more serious note, it's concerning that their squad had players that would make it into the team we fielded, albeit we rotated for this one. Haji Wright is still unsure where the goal is and has only scored 6 times in 25 appearances from 55 shots. I cannot figure that one out! Thankfully the Terminator Jake Bidwell scored to level terms after hosts took an early lead, and Ellis Simms slotted home the winner late on in the second half to get three points. Hard fought win, will take that!
Brighton 5 - 0 Uxbridge
Scorers: T_Abraham (57'), O_Marmoush (73',83',90+4',90+5')
Similar story of early missed opportunities meant that we were only 1-0 up through a Tammy Abraham effort just before the hour. Marmoush arrived off the bench and rescued the result with four goals in 20 minutes to give the scoreline a more respectable look. Marmoush managed seven shots during his short cameo, which was more than the rest of the team combined managed before it! Glad I didn't rest him completely for this one!
Leamington 1 - 2 Bournemouth
Scorers: T_Berridge (66' pen)
Good performance where were matched Bournemouth and could've got a point from an excellent side. Instead we slip to a narrow defeat. Big performance from what was essentially a second string side for Leamington as we look to get our fitness back on track for the league games this weekend.

Manchester United 1 - 0 Hartlepool United
They only got past us once and that's all they needed to do, we weren't able to get the route one working this round which is disappointing because a point would have seen us qualify for the next phase of the cup. It was more like route one via the ground coming back our way such was their control of the game. We actually defended superbly overall but just had nothing going the other way sadly. Was a fun competition to be in and whilst our league form is shocking, I hope our fans enjoyed this cup run!
Sunderland 3 - 0 Liverpool
We have qualified for the next phase of the cup with this result on the back of playing Liverpool I think about 5 times in the last month. We have a good idea what to expect of them now: they're a bloody great team and they're hard to match up effectively against. Feels like Ed often has us worked out.
Today we had two goals from midfield and a defender with a cheeky lob whilst our two forwards did a lot of selfless work to create that space and so others were set up to test Pandur with quality shots. Savinho came up winners in the battle against their midfield; I find a lot of the time against Liverpool it's about who owns the midfield and the performances of our prime movers like Savinho and Estevao always directly connected to the match outcome (I suppose that's not exactly cutting edge analysis).
I believe we will have Arsenal away in the qualifiers round next, but we'll wait for the league to confirm this in coming days.
