Hartlepool United 2 - 2 Buxton
Pleased that we worked so hard to secure this point as Buxton were good, but a little disappointed that we were able to go ahead both times in the match and then not control or manage the match. But to put this in context, Scunthorpe beat QPR 9-0 in the cup last week and then got turned over 4-0 away to Chippenham so that should tell everything needed to be known about just how competitive the Conference League is.
Should take a moment though to point out that we could have been more on target with just 4 shots. Would like to have done better but we did get 2 goals out of the ones that we did have on target... unsure about how much to complain there.
