Leicester City 4 - 1 Hartlepool United
No real surprises here. The tie was over in the first leg. We still tried to impose ourselves but they weren't having any of it and finished up 9-2 winners on aggregate. We got two goals though!
Sunderland 3 - 1 Coventry City
When Coventry scored their goal my heart sank. Self-fulfilling prematch prophecy and all that. We went about things in a way that I think made it harder for Coventry to find any space to break away on us, instead we pinned them back until we were able to crack them like a nut. Satisfying, because we have struggled to put teams away in these circumstances in the past. Wissa opening and closing the scoring was good value. Pleased to progress to the quarter finals.
