Wolves 0-1 Brentford.

Really upset to lose this one write at the end of the game. We held our own defensively however Brentfords goalkeeper had a fantastic game and really did well to stop us scoring a lot. Max Weiss however had his best game in a while in goal and it's great to have two goalkeepers battling out and showing what they can do. Our centre halfs have already got a good understanding and although results have started baddly in the league there is still a long way to go.

Sunderland 2 - 0 Manchester City

Pleased with that result. Made sure to get at them early when they're settling into the game, that first five minutes are a key time that you can get at Manchester City when they are settling into the game. Estevao was bloody brilliant, teamed up with Savinho well and Wissa then does what comes naturally when the ball falls to him in a crowded box. Mancs had moments too, Mamardashvili was tested a few times, but we just got our noses in front and kept the pressure on evenly throughout the whole match. Their player being sent off probably borne out of frustration than any sort of malice, trying to get his side back into the tie. Glad to get our first win of the Super League season.

Brighton 1 - 2 Everton

Well a good result for us and not what I was expecting. Ususally it is never easy against @willz121 so I figured we probably might be lucky to win this.
It is good though to get a win after they beat us in FMFA Cup final last season.

In this one we got off to a great start with a goal from the off from Martinelli. I figured it would be a procession of attack from our opponents but no it stayed pretty even and we managed to get through to half time with our lead intact. The second half we started well as we did in the first and within 9 minutes we had our second and a brace for Martinelli. Comfortable at this stage I thought we would just manage the game to the end for the points but all hell broke out when on 61 minutes Son elbows and opponent and red ensues. We are down to ten and half an hour to face what had to be coming as they had the advantage in numbers and maybe it would have but for Mitoma doing us a favour and also getting a red card. Ten v Ten thenbut Brighton didn't give up and landed a goal and with twenty mins left it could have been dicey but we held on for a good win and the points.
A much better performance from us and this is what we need more of but without the red card.

Reds 0 - 1 Gunners

A game we dominated and should have won but the away side had lady luck on their side and took all three points. Every now and then you get robbed, often against any of Jammy's side. That man must be a lucky one. Of course playing without forwards in this one didn't help us but we created enough chances to score at least a couple of games. We go again...

Brighton 1 - 2 Everton

The red cards, one for each side, definitely spoiled this game. Everton went two ahead, with Martinelli grabbing a brace, before Dossu pulled one back for us. Son then saw red for Everton before Mitoma joined him, and it seemed to disrupt the pattern of the game and it ended with a whimper from there. 11 vs 11 it could've been an interesting finish but it kind of petered out.

Unusual that our performance was very drab, especially with the way we've played, and beaten, Villa and Arsenal already this season, but we move.

Well played David, always an interesting face off between us!
