Top 4 in league last season auto qualify along with the two Cup winners. As Brighton won both cups one of cup spots goes to next in the league or 5th placed.

The cup runners up and next 2 in league get to play off for two final spots. As Everton was one of those in auto spots it meant 6th,7th and 8th plus league cup runner up are in play offs.

BRENTFORD versus WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

So we have a chance of playing in the world challenge cup this season, adding an extra competition to a busy schedule. This is a great opportunity for us to challenge ourselves against some different types of teams from across the world. Are we ready for a competition of this nature? who knows, however what I do know is this season I am determined we are going to do our best in what ever competitions we're in and attempt to win something. If we could qualify for a competition of this nature in only our second season in charge as a coaching team this could be an amazing experience for some of our younger squad members. In order to reach this competition we need to overcome Brentford in a qualification round. They don't have a manager however they've got the experienced David guiding them in the two qualification matches so this won't be easy for us. Piero our new signing will lightly make his first appearance and is lightly to line up along side Dan Ballard at centre half. Max Weiss and Anthony Patterson will be fighting for the goalkeeper spot as we'll be paying credits for an over age slot so that Norgett can stay in the under 23s for the upcoming season to continue his development as at 21 he's got potential to be a top keeper. In midfield it's looking similar to last season and up front David Fafana is lightly to partner Mathys Tel. Captain Dan Ballard and new signing Piero's partnership at centre half could be key this season to how well we do. If they can get a good partnership together then this could be a fantastic season for us.
