Liverpool 1-0 Wolves.

Really sad to have lost this game if i'm honest. The players faught hard and I feel that given how well we faught we deserved at least a draw. Liverpool however took one of there chances and that made the difference. Our players however can be proud as we competed well against one of the top sides in the league. Since moving him forward Vaden has settled well into his new midfield roll. I made the descision to move him forward because of the amount of contrebutions he use to make when playing at the back therefor I decided to give him a go in midfield and he's really taken to the roll. Mathys Tel has had a fantastic first season with the club and we're hoping now in him and David Fofana we've got a really good strong young strike force.

West Ham 2 - 2 Arsenal

West Ham relegated

West Ham United showed real character to earn a dramatic 2–2 draw against Arsenal at the London Stadium, fighting back after twice falling behind in a breathless FMFA Division One clash.
The Hammers started brightly but were rocked when Javier Casas’ long-range strike slipped past Alex Meret to give Arsenal the lead. Credit to West Ham, though, who responded almost immediately. Mothiba pounced on a goalkeeping error to level the scores, setting the tone in the first half. Arsenal regained the advantage through Isak, but West Ham created plenty themselves, with Kudus, Robsie and Mount all going close before the break.
The game swung after half-time when Arsenal were reduced to ten men following Nisic’s red card. West Ham turned the screw, pinning the visitors back and racking up chances, only to be denied repeatedly by Dalmasso and the woodwork. Pressure finally told on 78 minutes in spectacular fashion, Mason Mount unleashing a dipping long-range strike that flew in to spark wild celebrations.
But unfortunately it wasn't enough to stave off relegation.

Aston Villa 3 - 2 Bournemouth

congratulations on the title Alex,

i had a strong suspicion we would be losing this one at least it was a great game to lose the title on, hopefully next season we can control our DP better so that we could aim to build a lead to ensure last round title deciders against the best team in the league dont happen again

well played and thanks to all the admin for running the season

Aston Villa 3-2 Bournemouth

What a game to finish the season and redemption having fallen short last season! I feared the worst when we went behind just before half time with both managers going D at any sign of a lead but we equalised fast and then found the winner!

A great tactical battle as ever with Matt. I fully expected him to go D from the start and we had to win so we used an A which we rarely go with. His N therefore got the better of me and he out thought me! I have always spoken incredibly highly of Matt as a manager - one of the best to ever play the game - and it is rare I get one over on him so I will enjoy this - sure he'll be back stronger than ever next season!

We hit top of the table for the first time all season in the final game! Timing is everything! It's our second title in three seasons and our fifth consecutive top five finish which I think ties the record! Next season we try to make it back to back! With some top sides in this division that will not be easy to do!
