Liverpool - Wolverhampton Wanderers

So the last game of the season seas us facing Liverpool. Thankfully we already know we're safe after a good result in our last match so this is a chance for the players to get the highest finish we can. Liverpool however are a very tough side to beat and have a fantastic squad of players with an experienced manager in Ed. This wil be a tough game for us however I am confident that we can get a result it's been a good season and thankfully we've proved the pundits wrong as they predicted we'd finish tenth which is the 3rd relegation place however we've done well and managed to stay up quite comfortably in the end. This game is a chance for the players to prove themselves and get a result against one of the better sides in the league. This will not be an easy match so it's a releaf that we've already confirmed our safety as this would have been very difficult if our safety had depended on it. This is a chance for the players to go out and express themselves.

Aston Villa - Bournemouth

Well the season draws to a close and its the title deciding game, we are pleased the Friday break gave us a 100% reset and all players back from suspension which is a relief considering the DP season we have had. Its great to have the chance to win back to back titles and we are technically in the best position with the point advantage but away from home to Villa im not at all confident that we will come out on top after 90 minutes to secure the trophy.

Good Luck Alex lets hope for a clean match

Aston Villa vs Bournemouth

So we have a winner takes all title decider on the final day!

Both sides have been going like for like on results over recent weeks and we are on great form having not lost in the league since round nine against Wolves but we know just how tough this will be. Recent history does not feel on our side either - last year we came in the final game of the season at home where a win took us the title and lost it so this is either to be deja vu or redemption!

We haven't beaten Matt's team in the last 5 meetings going back to season 22 - although at least that were at home! A lot of them have been draws but that won't be enough for us tonight

It is going to come down to who gets their tactics right. I think I know what Matt will do - I know what I would do in his position - so I just need to find the right counter and execute well myself.

This is going to be a tough ask - but it's what we play the game for!!!
