Auction Round 2 results

Post by FMFA Auction »

Ok then out of the 15 teams who could bid only 7 did this round.

Yet again the keepers were not bid on and all 5 go into round 3

We will shift straight over 2 the strikers as we had 3 available and 2 got bids.

First up is L Nmecha and he had a first choice bid of £41m which came in from Fulham @Macca

The other striker was a first choice as well for the team that bid £132.75m for him.
That bid came from Sunderland @Nocky

Ok onto the midfielders then.

Now then 2 were popular. First then was M Zubimendi.
First in with a bid of £45.5m was QPR @Joe for their first choice player and that was way lower than the winning bid. Bournemouth @Matt weighed in with a hearty £125m for him and again their first choice player and that as well proved to low.
No the winning bid was a hefty £150m which was for their main target and won him. He will be at the Emirates this season with Arsenal @Jamma

The second midfielder who was popular was R Cherki who received 4 bids.

@Joe and QPR fancied him but their bid of £45.5m was not enough. 2 bids gone for QPR.
Bournemouth @Matt also moved to him as a second choice and bid £80m for him but it also was not enough. 2 bids down for Bournemouth too.
Coventry @willz121 came in next and they had made him their first choice player. They also fell short with a bid of £110m.

Well then who won him? Where is he going?
That was decided with a bid of £111m....kinda harsh on Coventry who fell £1m short of getting him. He will be plying his trade with The Toon as he will be at Newcastle @harry51

Coventry with a bid gone turned again to a midfielder for their second choice and threw £110m at McAtee.
It was more than enough as no one else fancied him at all .

So we are left then with QPR and Bournemouth. What if they both with their final bids went for the same player....one would lose out.

Well fortunately they didn't.
QPR stayed on midfielders and went with their standard £45.5m for B Doak to pick up their third choice player.

Sorry @Matt your last but at least you know now you won a player this round.

They for their third choice went for the only defender left in D_Coppala. Bournemouth's final bid, and winning one, was £125m
