Wolves 1 - 1 Eagles

We knew we had to come up with something special to get a result at Molineux and we set up the team with a tactic which is hard to beat. I feel we got the match where we wanted and overall we performed better than the home side. We hit the ball long and created loads of opportunities to score. We didn't care about the possession today and defended really well when the home side was on the ball. They opened the score in the 14th minute when Giovanni Simeone scored from a good finish. We got our equliser only minutes later when Breel Embolo used his pace and broke lose from the defence. His finish was precise and he showed why he is so valuable for us. Both teams had chances in the second half to win the game but it all ended in a scoring draw. After losing in the cup earlier in the season against Wolves I'm happy to come away with a point in a difficult stadium to visit. It means we're still unbeaten after four games played and there's every chance of having a successful season with The Eagles.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Crystal Palace

A very even game with a draw totally the correct result. Despite the home advantage and the counter and even taking an early lead through Simeone they hit straight back and then it was even stevens

We stay unbeaten and top of the very early table which is good news. We have a lot of away games coming our way so let's hope we can keep up the form in them
