Im getting used to losing against non sheeting opponents. A game we dominated and created chance after chance. But somehow the visitors kept a clean sheet and got a fluke goal to win the game. On to the next one…

Arsenal 0-1 Aston Villa
Our impressive start to the season continues with a win over last year's champions. We went more attacking than we sometimes would away from home but it worked seeing us pick up a slender win for 3 great points.
It's our 6th win in a row in all comps following our opening day defeat against the same opposition - although this is the first time a manager has turned up against us since game 2. The fixtures with the cup have been a weird coincidence in that we have only faced 3 teams in our 7 games - Watford 3 times, Arsenal and Wolves twice. We finally face someone different in Bournemouth next Wednesday before we conclude the cup group stage - against Arsenal!
In this game the opposition can be aggrieved not to get at least a draw as they were the better side but we took our chance and held on for a really good win against a bogey side of ours. It's only 2 games in but our youth form is good and looking to build towards a great season.
