not a very excitng game but we were already winning from the 1st leg so happy to progress to the next round

Sunderland U23 0 - 1 Queens Park Rangers U23

Same problem today as all season really. Control possession, lots of good passes, shots on target, but we make their keeper look like that guy from Cabo Verde and then give away goals at the merest brush of forward movement from our opponents. Needed to belt them to get through given they were 3-1 to the good from the first leg and just could not.

Quite disappointed to be eliminated in the first round of the cup, this was a winnable tie, but one that summarises all our woes this season.
