not a very excitin game as we held arseanl to a point at home i am not happy with thiago getting himself sent off after only 8 minutes so we had to dig in for most of the game and we managed to get a hard earned point to keep us midtable

Aston villa 3-0 Wolves.

A tough result against a very good side in this league. We could not create any chances and due to an admin mistake we ended up with a T sheet which made it even harder. Patterson however in goal was amazing and given his performance in this game he's really making it difficult to keep faith with the young german.

Sunderland 2 - 0 Fulham

Got this one done calmly at home, an even game that I thought we held control of well enough to keep them on the back foot just enough to secure the two winning goals and put them off enough to stop them scoring. We needed to ask a little more from our bench today, that's lessons learnt from the loss to Newcastle. Toney in particular was great in his half hour out there, taking the second goal well, he sent Diop to the shops really. Clearly wanted to make his mark on the game and so we get a key three points that leaves us midtable a third of the way through the season.
