Leamington 0 - 4 West Ham United

Always expected this to happen, even with home advantage and the tactical counter all game, their 24r striker is better than my 22r keeper so goals flowed. Nothing more to see, we're here for the participation medal lol

Coventry City 3 - 1 Solihull Moors

Similar story, but boot on the other foot. We expected to win this one, especially at home and we came away with a comfortable win against a local side. We took control of the game with Jack Rudoni instrumental and we got the goals to give us a lovely win to start the group off. Solihull very much where Leamington were so I am sure they probably didn't expect too much here.

Hartlepool United 1 - 3 Chelsea

We played well but Chelsea were just better and once they decided to turn it on we were left in the dust. Goes to show how big the gap from non league to the big leagues is.

sun 1 - 3 Newcastle United

Also in this game we were pretty good but the horse punchers were clinical when it mattered and did what we couldn't which was score multiple goals. I was reluctant to makes changes because of how well we were performing but that proved unwise given one of their subs scored. Definitely not the start to the group phase I wanted as I thought they were very gettable in the lead up to the match.

Ucsbridge 1-5 Wolves.

The only annoying thing about this match is we let a goal in, we were dominant the whole game which is what you'd expect playing against a national league side. Was impressed with Mathys Tel and Ben Stephens both scored key goals in this game and as two of our young players they are part of our very bright future. So we go into the second round of the cup and hopefully we can go far in this as the FMFA cup is a very good cup to be a part of.
