West Ham United produced an entertaining 4-2 victory over Nottingham Forest, racing into an early three-goal lead at the London Stadium. West Ham United struck quickly through Kudus from the penalty spot, before Gusto and McKechnie added further goals inside eight minutes. Forest responded through Chris Wood before the break and Benjamin Sesko early in the second half to make it 3-2 and set up a tense finish. However, West Ham regained control and Joshua Zirkzee sealed the win late on. Mason Mount impressed in midfield, earning Man of the Match, as the hosts dominated possession and chances throughout.
