Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal

OK then lets get this party started.

16 teams bid in round 1 and all got a player not necessarily their first choice.

Right then goalkeepers.....

Not sure if anyone bid on any but if they did they were after players they'd won so irrelevant.
All goalkeepers then are left and available in round 2

Right then defenders.....

10 were available and 6 were bid on.
Top of the shop was R_Calafiori, good stats and a good age in fact a top quality defender but he just got the one bid of £171,000,000.
That bid wins then and he is off to Manchester City @Todd Fortune

C_Bradley next and he got 2 bids so popular defender I guess and again nice and young with good stats.

First bid in was £117,000,000 from Leicester City @bruffio but that turned out to be not enough.
In fact on that bid £118m would have got him but the bid that came in was a resounding £180,000,000 so they wanted their man and went for him but unbelivable it wasn't their first choice but the teams second choice.
He will be going for season 23 to Queens Park Rangers @Joe

Those two above were the most expensive defender sales in this auction the next best was a first choice bid of £93,000,000 which came in as a second choice bid from Leicester City who lost out on Bradley above.
Clearly @bruffio wanted a defender and was going to try get one. Fortunately he did and Leicester get their second choice defender this time picking up D Huijsen.

Right on with the defenders then.

Next up is M Kerkez, another young gun as they say. He only got the one bid of £60,000,000 and a first bid as well so a reasonable bargain in the end but not the cheapest to go in the auction.
He will be at Brentford next season

M de Light went for a paltry £32,000,000 - a bargian but still not the cheapest defender bought this round.
He was first choice at that money and chancing it with a low bid and getting it was Newcastle @harry51

I am just going to jump slightly here for auction reveal effect!

We are going to move to striker J_Zirkzee and there were two bids.
First up was Wolves who went low with £45,000,000 and so nearly got him.
Instead he went for just £5m more at £50,000,000 and that came in from West Ham United @Macca

Right so now we can go back to the final defender in the auction who we now know went for bang on his minimum of £30,000,000.
Having missed out on their first choice then Wolves came in with that bid for D Munoz and got him. Maybe the bargain of the auction, might not but certainly one of them.

As we have done one striker we may as well nip over to them as Midfielders were the popular choice this auction with the most bid on a player being a Midfielder in that man Gravenbarch.
OOOH exciting as lets face your now thinking all about him and want to know don't you???.......well you'll have to wait.

Up next then is striker O Marmoush mainly because he was the top choice for this team and they were the only ones to bid on him with a bid that was needed (that bit's just for @Jamma ).
So that bid was £186,250,000 which is no mean sum especially as they could have got him for less but who was to know?
He is off to Brighton @willz121
