The Hornets were absolutely smashed by the Blades so pretty lucky to only escape with a 1 goal loss. At least the Hornets are still in it but will need to be much better for the second leg.

Not what we had in mind going into this one and we were lucky to get the draw although in fairness that was just about the right result. But 0-0 in the home leg leaves us a tricky task in the away fixture. We will be resting players for the league game to have the best side available.
The one advantage is that they didn't get an away goal so we're in control if we can score at their place. That will be the goal. The advancement in player stats for next season means that the majority of this side will stay together next term which is good news and we start to build our challenge from now.
