No the bargain moneywise for me was a bid of £25,000,000 on the last defender listed the 22rated C Mosquera. So near to the minimum it's a steal without a doubt.

That bid came in from Fulham and @Macca

Ok lets jump to a big name J_Frimpong and boy the winner is lucky Ed got his second choice he'd have been going to Liverpool.

Anyway Frimpong was the main man for 2 clubs.
Firstly Newcastle who saw him as their front man but not this time @harry51 as that cheeky £61m was never going to be enough.

No the £152,250,000 fron Villa was and so he goes their.....now you know @Nocky that you got your first choice but I think you guessed

So not getting his main man meant @harry51 and Newcastle turned to another striker R Ait-Nouri and he had more bids in the end than Frimpong but again @harry51 disappointment looms as upping by £1m and bidding £61m was still the lowest bid for him.

Brentford wanted him as their main choice and bid £70,000,000 well that wasn't enough either but as it turned out he went cheap, or relatively.
He went for just £81,250,000 and that bid came in from Derby @Dazoctaron

So lets put @stocko74 and Brentford out of their misery as they wanted a defender and they got one but as it turns out it is their second choice but it was the only bid required and they got their man for £70,000,000.
A Khusanov is their guy now.

Now we move to G_Leoni....who attracted interest.

For Leicester @bruffio , yes welcome to the gig Tony, he was their main choice but with a bid of £147,000,000 he fell short.
Arsenal had lost out on main choice Wirtz who went for big brass and turned here for second choice bidding £70,000,000 but as you can see from the Leicester bid it wasn't enough @Jamma .
Instead he was someone else's third choice as well and having missed out on Wirtz and Etikite they went here and bid £164,2500,000 to pick him up. Off to QPR he goes, @Joe

OK then as Leicester had missed on on their number one man they turned to J_Hato and landed him for £127,000,000
@bruffio get's a defender.

Right then the main defender is up. Gabriel had only 2 bids and both saw him as the man and their main choice.

Bournemouth and @Matt opened with £85,000,000 but unfortunately it wasn't enough.
Oh no he was going to go for nearly double that as a bid of £151,000,000 cam in from Brighton and @willz121

Now we go back to V_Gyokeres the striker we almost forgot about.

Bournemouth having missed out on Gabriel turned here and lobbed £92,000,000 at this one but again it wasn't enough @Matt

Instead having missed out Etikite as their main choice Sunderland went here with £120,250,000 and got him @Nocky

so all that is left is M De Cuyper defender and subject of 4 bids.

So Bournemouth having missed out on one and 2 cam in with a bid of £31,000,000 for their third choice....never going to be enough @Matt so it's round 2 for Bournemouth
And then came a third choice bid from Arsenal of £40,000,000 and yep it's not enough so @Jamma and Arsenal are also onto round 2.
Another third choice bid was from Newcastle of £41,000,000 and that sadly was short of the mark so they @harry51 will also be in round 2

No the winning bid was £55,00,000 and he was someone's number 1 choice. West Ham United @Macca pick him up.

And that I believe concludes round 1.
