Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Next up is A Isak who was one of the most expensive buys this auction but not the highest.
First in with a bid were Manchester City and they bid £171,000,000 but we know they didn't get their first choice as they got Calafiori as there second one. So that bid would have won any player but three others this auction. Unlucky for them that higher bids came in for Isak.
The winning bid was the princely sum of £200,000,000 but it made sure they got their man and first choice as he will be at Arsenal @Jamma

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Next Up is M_Cunha who had 2 bids in for him.
£70,500,000 was the first bid and that was from Southampton @Fenris and unfortunately it turned out to be not enough.
No the winning bid came in from Aston Villa who got him for the sum of £94,000,000 @Nocky

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Right I will do the last striker now but it will reveal that the annoying one, me, didn't get his first choice.
Next up is L Delap who got just the one bid a second choice bid from Everton and so he will be playing there and he went for the sun of £143,000,000

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Right then the midfielders....
We shall start small (bid wise) and so first is C Jones who had the one bid of £43,250,00 a tidy little bargain this for Derby County @Dazoctaron

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Going up.......
To the sum of £62,500,000 we have M Ugarte. Another bargain but not for me the bargain of the auction which is coming up shortly.
That amount for Ugarte was a lone bid and from Leeds United @markbaldwin1892

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Next then we have for me the bargain of the round, remember it is just personal opinion you may all view it different but this was a real shock.
C Palmer actually at first got no bids at first and got only 1 bid in the end which was a shock in itself.
This is the top rated middy in the auction and no one wanted him as their number one pick.
Well this lot lost out on their striker so Southampton second bid came in for him and mopped him up for the cheeky sum of £70,500,000
Hats off to you sir @Fenris for grabbing an absolute bargain.

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Two left and I'm going to jump to the guy who got all the bids. The man the most wanted and the most expensive buy this round and that is.....
The one, the only R Gravenberch.
This got had 4 bids and all number 1 choice bids! First and the lowest was Manchester United @Burrows with £110,000,000, which was nowhere near enough.
Up next was sad old me. Deluded as I was I went £157,000,000 and that was nowhere near enough.
The last team to lose out on him was QPR @Joe who in fairness bid a good sum at £180,000,000.
£240,000,000 took him. A good old amount that out anyone's coffers but it means he will be on Merseyside playing for Liverpool @Eduardo

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
Last player bid then was a second choice bid and having lost out on their main choice, as so many of us did, they went for another midfielder.
They went for M Caicedo and bid £95,000,000.
No one else wanted him so for that he goes to Manchester United @Burrows

Re: Round 1 Pre-Season Auction Reveal
So midfielders left for round 2 are:
M Odegaard
Savinho
A Diallo
Y Minteh
J Sancho
That concludes the first round of the auction.
