Fullham 2-1 Wolves.
A really hard loss to take, given how well he played our keeper did not deserve to let to goals in. Unfortunately we created quite a few chances however only managed to take one of them. This season is completely different to last season and it proves in football anything can happen and things can change. I suspect it's going to be very difficult for us to stay up now so we're potentially going to have to acept the fact we may be going to the devision lower and then use this to continue to develop our younger players with potential.

Sunderland U23 0 - 0 Nottingham Forest U23
We did everything today but put the ball in the back of the net and not for the lack of trying. The team controlled the game well and Burke did end up running the midfield again which is like two or three matches in a row, he surely is angling to be playing senior football somewhere next season with performances like this. Would have traded a few of the shots off for trying to put Wilson through on goal in better spots because whilst I like have a point, I hate that we've dropped two points at home against the team on the bottom of the league! We've now got to turn our attention to the u23 league cup which is finely balanced in our favour, this will be complicated by Hester getting sent off very late in a rare start for him!
