West Ham United U23 produced a disciplined and deserved away performance to claim a dramatic 1–0 victory over Manchester United U23 in YDL Division Two. The Hammers controlled possession for long spells and defended well, with Herrick assured in goal and Egan outstanding at the back. Chances came and went at both ends, but West Ham remained patient even after United were reduced to ten men. Deep into stoppage time, persistence paid off as Egan’s hold-up play set up sub Ben Woodburn, who fired home the decisive winner.
We win the title! So proud of these young blokes. Efficient performance away from home against a side for who goals flow freely for and against.
Moore has 139 shots for the season in all competitions - extra massage gun time has been allocated.
Should also shout out that we've developed two absolute breakout young blokes in Jayden Luker and Matadeen who will be smashing the world game for the next 15 years.
Let's now aim to finish clean and not lose another game in the remaining fixtures.
